Started by Tom and Margaret Palmer, in 1971, our business initially concentrated on the offshore industry. These days we supply to customers large and small, all over the UK. Over the years we have worked closely with a number of big name manufacturers, always with the emphasis on high-tech products.
We have seen many different big names come and go, including the likes of Westinghouse, AGA, BOC, Elektrosta (Metro) and many others. On our 40th anniversary, we have changed our name to TPS WeldTech Ltd and are now proud to be completely independent once again. No longer forced by suppliers to sell inferior products from a certain range, just to make up production quotas, TPS can once again offer customers informed decisions about the most suitable equipment for them.

2012 sees the complete refurbishment of our 3rd state-of-the-art Welding Technology Centre.
