Initial contact and short description:
Cooper Cameron ist worldwide (in 100 countries) one of the most important producers (market leader) of offshore components, like valves, compressors, ....for transmission, production and for refining of oil and gas. Seat of the mother company is USA, Texas.

Solution:
After several welding trials, TPS-Fronius managed to rent the first plant to Cooper Cameron in Great Britain in June 2003.

Decisive for the change from the competitor PEC to Fronius was the newly developed ETR-system and its advantages:
- Simplification of the torch positioning by automatic electrode centring
- Cost saving by smaller expenditure of time for workpiece positioning
- Cost saving because no investment for turntable is necessary
